Brighton is located 20 miles Northeast of Metro Denver. It is the county seat of Adams County, Brighton blends small town with suburban growth. Long a farming center with processing plants for sugar beets and cucumbers, Brighton today is being influenced by Denver International Airport on the south and easy access to Denver via I-76.
Brighton's continued growth is assured with it's now easy access to the E-470
toll-road which connects I-25 to the north and I-70 to the south. This new
freeway will bring distant Brighton even closer to Denver.
If you prefer country living with the convenience of Downtown Denver less than
30-40 minutes away, Brighton is a good choice. Housing opportunities range from
Planned Communities to custom homes on acreage. The terrain is rolling plains, a
home on top of a hill will have an awesome view of the front range of the Rocky
mountains.
Major employers in the Brighton area include: Sakata Farms, Central Products
and a
K-Mart Distribution Center.
